Finished in the nick of time....prior to the Q1 Finishes Link-up closing.
I started this quilt in January of 2015 with the intention of completing as much of the embroidery during my 4 round trip flights to AZ. I was in AZ for a total of 7 weeks last year (within a 2.5 month time frame). I was able to get most of the smaller stitched blocks completed. As I was figuring out projects for this quarter I decided that if I worked on this quilt I might be able to get it on my bed before winter is over. Well this winter has been so mild, it doesn’t feel like it occurred. This quilt is complete, and will be on my bed for part of next winter!

Now I have two winter quilts, which gets me closer to my goal of a
quilt for each month. So I have either December/January
or January/February covered. So I either
need to make a Christmas quilt for December or a Valentine’s Day quilt for February. I am leaning towards a Valentine’s Day one!
