2019 FAL Q2 - Finish - #31 - Modern Trip Around the World

This quarter I was able to get my Modern Trip Around the World quilt quilted, labeled and bound.  I really like the fabrics I used in this one.  Pattern is by Quilt Addicts Anonymous.

2019 FAL Q2 - Finish - #29 - Lanterns of Hope

Lanterns of Hope – I was able to get this quilt completed this quarter.  I needed to quilt, label and bind it.  I tried out a quilting design that I failed at the first time I attempted it, but I think the quilting turned out great and complements the design of the quilt.  Pattern is by HollyAnne Knight of Rockstar Quilting.  I love how it turned out and can’t wait to use it on my bed.

2019 FAL Q2 - Finish - #16 - Nova

I was finally able to get this quilted, bound and labeled this quarter!  Love how it turned out.  Still have no clue what I am going to do with it though.  Pattern is Nova by Jaybird Quilts.  I made two and then made them into one larger either table runner or wall hanging.

2019 FAL Q2 - Finish - #30 - Dave Ramsey Wallet

My old Dave Ramsey wallet was worn out, so I bought new materials last fall while in Chicago with my sister and mom.  I made a new wallet and have been using it since I completed it at the beginning of the quarter.  I love that it is sturdier than the last one, and also that it has less pockets, and places for my cards!

2019 FAL Q2 - Finish - #8 - White with Black Strips Shirt

Shirt #4 out of this fabric – I took this fabric and made one of my 3 successful shirts.  I had such a fun time making them and have been wearing at least one of my 3 new shirts to work each week.  I have so many more plans for additional shirts, and even though there are little things I need to improve (top stitching looking nicer), I have had people say they liked my shirt, and one person that also sews garments, said she couldn’t tell it was “homemade” when I asked for her honest opinion! Pattern is by Annelaine.

2019 FAL Q2 - Finish - #9 - Black Shirt

2019 FAL Q2 - Finish - #26 - Thread Catcher #10

So thread catcher #10, ended up not being a thread catcher at all, as I forgot to count the 1st one I made as a test last quarter, as such I ended up making a bag out of this panel instead of a thread catcher.  The panel has now been used, and was the last of the panels that needed to become a finished project!

Green Floral Shirt

The third shirt I made this quarter was not on my initial FAL list, but I think is my favorite.  It also is using an Annelaine pattern.
